We love going to the park during the school hours...this means we get the play area ALL TO OURSELVES!

WE REALLY LIKE HALLOWEEN IN THIS FAMILY, AND WE AREN'T DONE YET!

A few weeks ago, we went to our visit some Auburn friends for the weekend who live in Jacksonville, FL. This is 5 hours north of us. Heather and Lee Borders went to Auburn with Dan, but Heather and I bonded that particular weekend over my first 5k. I had told her that I always wanted to complete a 5k, but never had someone to push me to push myself. Heather dedicated herself to being my coach, even though she lived 5 hours away. Heather participates in triathlons and enjoys running, so she made me accountable for my training. I was able to complete my first 5k in 40 minutes and 33 seconds, with my own personal goal being 40 minutes flat. All in all, I was pretty proud for my first 5k. The rest of the weekend was time chilling with a good Auburn family cheering on our team.

The girls loved Heather and Lee's house.
Heather and Hannah watched "Annie" the musical while the rest of us watched the Auburn game. Heather even helped me sing to my dad "Weagle Weagle" when Auburn beat Clemson.

Gryffyn practiced her "butt twirling" on their hardwood floors.

Hannah got an olive manicure at their local vegan restaurant.

Play hard, sleep hard. Girls on the air mattress.

Playing at the park with their dog Amos...

Gryffyn had to entertain herself on the car ride back, as Hannah passed out 10 minutes after we left. Gryffyn followed in a nap soon after.

More pictures posted soon....laptop battery dying.

So Auburn might have lost a game this past week, which was extremely upsetting, but at least the girls looked cute during the game. Hannah's cheerleader outfit almost doesn't fit, and Gryffyn's shirt doesn't fit AT ALL, so we had to improvise with an orange shirt and blue tutu...thank goodness she likes her tutu!

After the game, we needed a little bit of a pick me up and dancing was in order.

Then it was time to show Daddy how strong his girls are. They helped him finish his workout.

A great end to the night is finding a lizard friend in the kitchen. After giving him a pet and letting him know everything was ok, the girls watched their dad release the lizard outside to roam free.

Before I begin, I know I am in so many levels of trouble. I have been made aware of this. Let me be completely honest about the situation, and adult...it's Daniel's fault. We just got a new router that allows me to use my wireless laptop since our previous one is fried. Now that that situation is under control, I can let you know what has been going on in our lives. My birthday has come and gone...tear. Besides Daniel reminding me that I am two years closer to turning 30, we celebrated our friend's daughter's 1st birthday. I love being her unofficial aunt and birthday buddy...Chyanne and I are exactly 27 years apart. Here are some pictures from her birthday party.

Me and the birthday girl...I'm still very upset that Neleze got a red-haired daughter and I didn't!

Here are some other pictures of our day to day.

Hannah and Gryffyn coloring in dress up clothes.

Hannah and Gryffyn started school two days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) on August 23rd. Hannah had her first homework assignment...make a poster about her. We had so much fun making it.

Gryffyn can now eat with a spoon, but she only makes a mess when it involves applesauce.

Hannah's crown for Hat Day (look at how long her hair is getting!)

Hat Day Crown (Gryffyn's is not pictured because she ripped it)

Gryffyn is a pointer (she is telling Daniel where the pool is located)

And some funny lounging before bathtime.
