June 2012

The month of June was jam packed with lots of fun! We love to go to the park close to our house and try to every week!

 We also tried lots of new activities and experiments. We put poster paper in glass bowls, mixed food coloring in with water, put the mixture in droppers, and let the creative spirits flow!

 I also started sharing a booth with Lauren at the Jupiter Green Market selling tutus, dresses, blankets, canvas, wet bags, key charms, and we were also able to sell things Garage Sale style next to our booth. It became a multi-purpose  market and we had great weather.

 I also re-purposed our neighbor's play car by spray painting it green and pink. The top of the car wasn't the best looking, but the girls are complaining.

 We celebrated our friend Winston's birthday. Katie baked a cake at her place and invited everyone over to celebrate. There were lots of candles and it made Hannah giggle, and both girls LOVED the cake!

 I ran a 5K with my Body Back  and Stroller Strides group (Bella, me, Stacy, Tarryn, Ting, and Karen). It was Stacy's first 5K, and we ran it together, making sure she kept pace and didn't give up. My time wasn't the best, but I was happy making a new friend and new running buddy. Stacy and I have signed up for the Color Run in October.

Later that day, we went to see Brave in the movie theater. It was Gryffyn's first movie in the theater and she did alright except the bear scene scared her.

We love being so close to PlayMobil Activity Center! What better way to entertain ourselves on a rainy Friday? We love joining our friend, Alexandra, and soon her little sister, Elizabeth, will be able to join in the fun!

Our first year at Riverside Youth Enrichment Center is almost up, and we had a blast growing, learning, and playing with all of our friends!

But sometimes it's fun to just lounge on the couch.

We were crazy enough to do TWO Relay for Life events this year! It rained BOTH times, but that didn't keep our friends away, or keep us from having fun!

 Other highlights:

 The following week, Lauren visited us for a pretend sleepover with her girls. Our pretend sleepovers allow our girls to hang out, eat dinner, get in jammies, and watch movie together all before crashing to go to their own beds. Plus, it gives us moms time to chat and have fun!

 What to do with the leftover box pieces from the beds? Gryffyn thinks you should act like a robot.

 Memorial Day turned out to be so much fun! At first we thought, low-key, just us because everybody probably already made plans. Then Lauren asked us if we were doing anything, and then Deseree asked the same. It worked out perfectly. Three low-key families each bringing something to the table to eat, and then let's go swim!
