Real Snow

Hannah has now witnessed her first snow! Yes, it snowed in Memphis last night/this morning. Not a huge snowstorm...but at least an inch stuck to the ground. So before Dan went to work, we decided to take pictures of the blessed event. Mamaw will be proud that Hannah is wearing a hat and is wrapped up nice and warm in her Auburn blanket...but what about her dad? Sorry, I can't do anything about his insanity (i.e. wearing a short sleeve shirt when there is snow on the ground).

The dogs seemed to like it too! Oliver could not stop running around in the backyard trying to catch snowflakes, but Atticus was more concerned about what Hannah thought about the snow?

Guess Who Dressed Hannah?

So you are probably wondering what has been happening in the Weinberg household? Well, honestly...not that much. Saturday was the most eventful day we have had in awhile, and it really wasn't that much...but we did have fun...except Atticus.
Let's play a game first...it's called "Guess Who Dressed Hannah?" Ready, set, go!

If you guessed Daniel, then you are correct! If you guessed me, then shame on you! I know I have made some fashion mistakes in the past...but seriously!

After I stopped laughing long enough at my daughter's attire (and took a picture), I decided to document what the other "princess" was doing...
Yes, Oliver was motivated enough to move from his bed in our bedroom to his bed in the family room where he stayed for the rest of the day. Atticus...was sick all day Saturday and Sunday...so no pictures of him in this post, maybe next time.

And to end this post...How did Hannah and I spend our Saturday night? We went over to Jonathan and Trista's house. We were lucky enough to have them cook us dinner...which was wonderful (and not out of the box!). But Hannah did get bored with the gossiping as you can tell from the picture below...
Hope everyone else had a great weekend!

Hannah is one month old!

So, yesterday Hannah turned one month old! I can't believe it has already been a month...time really does fly by! How did we celebrate? We set down at the table to have dinner, which if you know Dan and I well then you know this is an odd occurrence. Hannah relaxed quietly while we dined on Chicken Pasta (yes, out of the box!), and then she performed a little dance routine with her dad. It was entitled "Dance for your Supper".

At the end of her routine, she struck a pose...
and was rewarded with her supper.
Later in the evening, she spent some Tummy Time with her mommy. As you can tell from the picture, Hannah was not too happy about Tummy Time. I still think this was a successful adventure because it was the first time Hannah held her head up while on her stomach. Happy One Month Hannah!

Hannah's first snow! (flurries anyway)

This picture is from this morning. I don't know if you can tell why Dan is holding Hannah outside in our backyard, or not. It is snowing! Mamaw will probably be upset that Hannah was not wearing a hat, but I swear she was only outside for five minutes!

So, we got snow flurries this morning! It will probably not stick because it's not cold enough, but we will just have to wait and see.

Birmingham Trip

This weekend, we went to Birmingham, AL to visit Hannah's grandparents and give her an opportunity to meet other members of the family. This also meant that Hannah got to wear lots of cute outfits, because you never knew when her grandmother would be taking another picture and heaven forbid Hannah be caught in the same outfit twice!

Hannah: "Papa, do you mind if I just take a nap in your arms?"

Hannah: "My grandmother knows how to feed me right!"

Starting up

Well, I am now a part of the blogging world! I have three people to thank for that...my gorgeous daughter (Hannah) and her great grandparents (Mamaw and Papaw). Mamaw and Papaw have loved the pictures I have sent them of Hannah, but it is not enough. This is understandable because she is just so darn cute, you can't get enough of her!

Hannah joined Dan and I on December 22, 2008. Now that she is a part of our lives, I can't imagine life without her! She has kept us entertained from the moment she first opened her eyes. Hannah was born at 4:09 AM, weighing 8 pounds, 13 ounces.

About an hour after she was born, she got to meet her grandparents (Dearie and Papa) and her Uncle Joshua.
