Hannah has learned a new word..."horse" and Gryffyn has learned to pull herself up in a standing position. Fun times at the Weinberg house.

We have also been enjoying the lovely weather in South Florida. During the day it has been in the high 60s/low 70s and at night low/mid 50s. We have gotten to play outside every afternoon either on one of our many swings or play in the backyard now that our pool fence has been installed. Our neighbors have also been enjoying the outside weather, which is a wonderful way for us to meet lots of great people.

This past Friday the girls and I FINALLY got to have our playdate with Andrea, John and Megan Anzaldo. Andrea and Daniel became friends when Daniel lived with Bink down here in Florida the first time. Andrea and Bink (along with her now husband, Gabe) all worked at Southwest Airlines. Andrea and Gabe still work for Southwest. When I moved down to Florida (the first time), Andrea and I instantly bonded because her mother had been a teacher in the Florida school system and Andrea knew a lot about my daily adventures as a teacher. Andrea had her son John about 6 months before Dan and I moved to Tennessee and we kept in touch through email and phone calls, especially after I got pregnant with Hannah...nice to talk to another mother of a small one.

Megan joined the Anzaldo family in early December and I have been trying very hard to have a playdate with all of our kids while Andrea is still on maternity leave, but with 4 kids total (John, Hannah, Gryffyn, and Megan) someone is always sick...until this past Friday!

Andrea planned an awesome craft for John and Hannah to complete for their dads for Valentine's Day (frames the kids decorated) and this also gave us an opportunity to catch up in person. We also got to watch Gryffyn show off her standing skills to Megan who gave some really good smiles and watch John and Hannah play outside. All in all, it was a very successful first playdate with the Anzaldos (minus Dan and Gabe, who were both working).

What does Hannah do when Gryffyn refuses to sit still in the wagon? Say "I don't want to go without Gryffyn. I'll just wait."? No. Instead Hannah steals Gryffyn's Eeyore to sit in Gryffyn's spot and goes on her wagon ride like everything is perfectly normal.
More playing outside because it is too beautiful of weather to pass up...

And two more accomplishments to end the posting today...

WE HAVE MOVED!!! Woo-hoo...the day finally came and went and now we live in a sea of boxes. Here are some pictures of the house, inside and outside, with some of our furniture in. I will take pictures again once we get settled so you can get a better idea of what the layout entails.

This past Sunday we had are first visitors. Shannon, Nils, and Armani came over with Jackie and Connor. Nils came to help Dan with "manly tasks" such as hanging the TV, while Shannon and Jackie came to "assist" Armani (age 5) in babysitting the girls while I unpacked. Connor was just along for the ride. Here are some pictures from that day, as well as the front yard since it's a great place to hang a swing or two.
