Friday we went Trick or Treating at the girls' school, Riverside Youth Enrichment Center. I loved seeing them dress up in their costumes. Hannah is a witch this year, which my mom will tell you I was a witch at least 4 times while growing up. We will have to wait and see if Hannah will bypass my record. Gryffyn has become obsessed with Minnie Mouse the past few weeks, so she automatically grabbed the Minnie Mouse Cheerleader outfit at the Halloween shop when we went shopping and wouldn't let go of it the 20 minutes it took us to find Hannah's costume.

This morning I couldn't resist taking this picture. Gryffyn slept so hard (and fitful because of a cold) that she started climbing out of her pajamas while she was sleeping. As you can tell she wasn't very happy about the picture event once she woke up...
We had the Kick Off Event to Relay for Life today, which means that I have been making decorations for the past two days. Since we only have a few days left of October, the girls wore their Halloween dresses that their Dearie made them. These dresses have been a huge hit with everyone that has seen them.
Decorations for Kick Off Event were lots of fun to make and I got lots of compliments for my craftiness.

Last night was so much fun! Daniel and I went to our friends Kristin DeLuca and Robert Binkley's joint Bachelor and Bachelorette Party. They had a joint party at the Bowling Alley and made it Pirate Themed.

I didn't find out that it was Pirate Themed until about 4 hours before we left to go to the bowling alley, so I thought, "ok, everyone's going to wear bandanas and I'll wear my boots and I'll be good." I was extremely wrong. Turns out a lot of people in South Florida have Pirate attire for various reasons. Some of the pirates at the party are members of the Renaissance Fair, some dressed up as pirates in college and still have the costume, and some have little kids who LOVE Pirates of the Caribbean, therefore they have been Pirates for the past 3 years for Halloween.

Here are a few pictures from the night...
