Books and Dresser

It seems that Hannah likes baskets and books. We are preparing our family room for our new surround sound system and TV, which means that I had to switch the bookshelves up a little bit. Hence, the laundry basket full of books. Those books are now going to the upstairs bookshelves, but until that happens Hannah wanted to see if there were any books that she would be interested in.


Looks like she found one to read...

...nevermind, she found one to chew on.

These eyes are saying "I get yelled at when I chew on books! It's not fair!"

Hannah has also become more mobile this past week. It is sometimes hard to keep up with her, and she gets into things before you realize it! Yesterday, she was playing with her highchair. She was sitting next to the highchair and started rolling it around. Her arm got caught underneath and she now has a long scratch. I think I was more upset than she was...she didn't cry!

And last but not least...I have been working on the dresser for Hannah's room. I decided to make it look more like the Dr. Seuss books by stripping the paint off of the dresser, staining it, and painting some characters on the top and side. I thought it would be in her room by now, but the handles on the two bottom drawers did not fit and have to be reworked. It's getting there though!
