This weekend was a pretty lazy one and we loved it! We took care of a few things around the house like laundry, cutting the grass, and going to get an oil change in one of the cars....but other than that, we lounged around the house. This is something we have become experts at doing.
Daniel reading a story to the girls before naps.

The girls have different hooded towels for when they take baths. Each hooded towel depicts a different character. We have a bunny, monster, duck, hippo, butterfly, and princess. Daniel has been able to teach the girls to make different sounds when they are wearing certain towels. Hannah really likes the yellow duck and will say, "Hannah Duck Quack Quack" and Gryffyn really likes the monster, and Hannah will say, "Gryffyn Monster ROAR". Due to the repeating performance in our house, we decided to watch Monsters, Inc. Sunday night in honor of our little monster.
The girls grabbed their Pillow Pets and blankets and curled up on the floor for a good movie. I love this because I can remember doing this exact same thing when I was a kid.
It makes me laugh that Hannah needs this heavy blanket to sleep with and puts another blanket on top of that. She is so much like me...it's scary. From this picture of her under the blanket, you would think we were still up in TN in the dead of winter instead of where we really are, which is south FL, middle of summer, experiencing 96 degree heat.

And I leave you today with one last funny from Hannah. She found her daddy's cargo shorts in the laundry basket and tried to put them on. She kinda got confused and put them on upside down, as well as only used one leg. It would have made a very cute skirt.
